Emma Coffey

Emma is a Director and Head of Lisney’s Retail Agency and is a qualified chartered surveyor. She joined us in 1999 and has a vast amount of experience in all aspects of the retail agency business including lettings, sales, acquisitions and landlord and tenant rent review and lease renewal work.

When Emma joined Lisney, she trained in the retail agency, office agency and professional services before completing her chartered exams and settling in Lisney’s retail department. She has helped to let many high-profile provincial shopping centres including Navan Shopping Centre, Fairgreen Shopping Centre in Carlow and Skycourt in Shannon and was on the consultancy team advising Ballymun Regeneration.

Emma worked for a period as a general practice surveyor with Mason Owen & Lyons, where she was involved in the sale of a number of retail investment properties and in the letting of shopping centres including Omni Park and Charlestown Shopping Centre. She rejoined Lisney in April 2014.

In more recent years, Emma has focused on the area of retail and F&B acquisitions and advising retail and F&B clients on market trends and lease terms. She has developed a broad repeat client base including well-known operators such as Zizzi, Camile Thai, Sano Pizza, Tiger Pizza, Oxfam, Spar, Equipet, Designer Exchange and Bo Concept.

Emma holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University and a diploma in Auctioneering, Valuation and Estate Agency from DIT Bolton Street. Emma is also a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
